TESDA Bataan conducts T2MIS Orientation
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Bataan, headed by Engr. Jaime S. Castillo, TESDA Bataan provincial director, conducted the TESDA Training Management Information System (T2MIS) last February 8, 2017 at Bataan Heroes Memorial College in Balanga City, Bataan.
Engr. Jaime S. Castillo, TESDA Bataan provincial director, in his welcoming remarks said that they are grateful with the creation of T2MIS system which will immediately generate the MIS and RWAC reports. He is hopeful that it will also be the start of the paperless transaction in TESDA.
The TESDA Training Management Information System (T2MIS) is a Web-based System developed/designed to facilitate the organized collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of all Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) data. It maintains a database of the agency’s training, assessment and certification data and will help improve our data/information processing capability, etc.
The objectives of T2MIS are the following: 1) Improved data/information processing capability; 2) Improved manpower planning, policy formulation and skills development capability; 3) Generated timely Statistical (Data/Information)/Executive Reports; Minimized/avoided double counting and/or “ghost trainees”; 4) Effect better operational planning and control; and 5) Improved efficiency of the agency’s administrative machinery and delivery of services to its various clients.
Ms. Maria Edita Hernandez, Sr. TESD Specialist of the TESDA 3 Regional Office in Pampanga, was the guest speaker of the said orientation. (sef)
